The University Student Center (SC) focuses on providing high-quality programs and events that benefit and contribute to student engagement on campus.

Within the Programming Department, SC funds multiple series and programs such as the Weekend Warrior Program (WWP), Warrior Wednesday activities, Titus Tuesday events, Welcome Week and Welcome Back Week, and more.

Each program above is led and coordinated by one student assistant paid by the University Student Center. While the SC Events programming group works closely with Code Red Entertainment (CRE) members, who are essential innovative thinkers that assist in driving the programs hosted by the entire Programming Department, the Weekend Warrior coordinator works independently to coordinate off-campus trips for Stanislaus State students.

Student Center Events

The University Student Center (SC) hosts several events each semester such as Stan State Cinema’s, Warrior Wednesday entertainment and activities, comedy shows, DIY pop-ups, live shows, and more!

These events are designed to attract students into the University Student Center spaces and provide them with a break from their busy schedules by providing student engagement opportunities throughout the week.

Every fall semester the University Student Center funds and collaborates with other departments within ASI & SC to host a series of Welcome Week activities at the beginning of the academic school year. These events and activities are intended to welcome new and returning students back to campus. In the spring semester a similar series of events, Welcome Back Week, occurs as well to welcome students back from winter break.

Weekend Warrior Program

The Weekend Warrior Program (WWP), a program funded by the University Student Center (SC), invites currently enrolled Stanislaus State students to attend off-campus events such as concerts, sporting events, trips to amusement parks, and so much more!

Students only pay 1/3 of the total cost of the trip and transportation is provided to and from the event.

Take a break from studying and enjoy a night out with friends!

Code Red Entertainment

Code Red Entertainment (CRE) is a programming group composed of innovative thinkers and enthusiastic planners that focus on event programming for the student body of Stanislaus State.

This group is made up of student assistants from Associated Students, Inc. and the University Student Center as well as a group of dedicated members who strive to provide the best events for our student body.

Each academic year, members of Code Red Entertainment are selected through a recruitment and interview process.

These students are involved in planning events and activities throughout the entire academic year, such as DIY pop-ups, movie nights, school spirit events, large scale events, events designed to bring students into the University Student Center, festive multicultural events, and more!

During the virtual setting, this group of students don’t take a break. They are constantly thinking of ways to engage students virtually. Whether it’s through online digital caricatures, comedy shows, social media campaigns, etc. They’re always thinking of something new and exciting.
