Of Mice & MenOf Mice and Men

by John Steinbeck
Directed by John Mayer

Please join us this year as we present this tragic tale.

Two drifters, George and his friend Lennie, with delusions of living off the "fat of the land" have just arrived at a ranch to work for enough money to buy their own place.  Lennie is a manchild, a little boy in the body of a dangerously powerful man.  It's Lennie's obsessions with things soft and cuddly, that have made George cautious about who the gentle giant, with his brute strength, associates with.

New Tenure Faculty Voice and Movement Specialist

The theatre department is overjoyed to welcome Cynthia DeCure to our full-time faculty. It has been nine years since the theatre Department hired a faculty member with an emphasis in performance. Cynthia comes to us from Los Angeles where she remained active as an actor, director, and advocate for diversity in the theatre. She is an expert in voice and works around the country advising productions on voice and dialect related work.  Cynthia will be a featured performer in this season's first production of Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead. In the spring semester, she will be directing Federico Garcia Lorca's Yerma.
