The commemorative committee organizes and promotes the annual Cesar E. Chávez, Dolores Huerta, and Larry Itliong Celebration at Stanislaus State. For more information, please email the Warrior Cross Cultural Center.

The mission of Disability Resource Service is to facilitate inclusion by reducing/eliminating barriers, whether they are attitudinal, structural, programmatic or otherwise. In doing so, students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to become successful through their own efforts and not held back by artificial barriers. We strive to create partnerships with students, faculty, staff, and other university and community offices by creating awareness and training on disability-related issues as well as providing information and referral services.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

The Educational Opportunity Program is an admission-based program that increases access, academic excellence, and retention for California's historically underserved low income, first-generation college students.

TRIO Student Support Services

Commits to intentional programming, which motivates and supports students in successful completion of higher education through academic development and understanding of college requirements. We empower first-generation and low-income students as well as students with disabilities to embrace who they are and take ownership of their college experience.

First-Gen Fridays Program

The First-Gen Friday's workshop series, under the Academic Success Center, is a collaborative effort to promote the visibility of Stanislaus State staff, faculty, and alumni leaders who were themselves first-generation college students. First-gen Fridays will be the first Friday of every month during the academic year. The workshop series will include a variety of topics and activities such as: speakers, social interactions and networking.

LGBTQ+ Mentorship Program

The mission of the LGBTQ+ MentorshipProgram at Stanislaus State is to assist students in developing positive sexualities and gender identities and expressions by connecting LGBTQ+ students with LGBTQ+ faculty and staff mentors.

MSI fosters student growth and academic success by nurturing spaces where men of color and self identified men feel safe to be purposefully vulnerable, live in their authentic truths, and be empowered to be agents of social change.

Colectivo Estudiantil Son Xinachtli

We are a Social Justice Son Jarocho collective based in Stanislaus State, Central Valley. We play, sing, & dance to spread decolonial knowledge.

 

 

Indigenous Student Activism

Indigenous Students in Activism is a student-led club that started from the
community we built in Ethnic Studies 2300: Introduction to Native American and
Indigenous Studies course during the fall of 2018. We built a community around
learning about Indigenous resistance in our community and within ourselves.

 

Assistance is Available

We strive to fully support all of our students, including undocumented students, families and those most directly affected by current situation with COVID-19, undocumented immigration status, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Undocumented Student Services Program

The purpose of the program is to nurture, advocate, empower, and support undocumented students from all backgrounds to successfully pursue a higher education and foster a supportive campus dedicated to educational and personal success.
