This page contains information about using Panopto + Canvas to store and stream .mp4 video files. Panopto is designed to provide an optimized video streaming experience for students, no matter their device or network connection. Panopto also makes it easy for instructors to add closed captions to their videos.
With Panopto available, instructors should never upload .mp4 video files directly into a Canvas course. Always upload into Panopto and then provide link to the video in Canvas!

What is "New Quizzes"?
As the name implies, New Quizzes is a new quizzing experience in Canvas for instructors and students, offering a few more question types than the "Classic" quiz tool as well as a different management of quiz settings. New Quizzes is not a significant change for students taking a quiz.
New Quizzes is currently in development by Canvas. It does not yet have some of the features that are in Classic quizzes, and some features are not expected to be ported over into New Quizzes.
Creating Content Pages
You can create Content Pages that include text, multimedia, or links to web or course resources that support and enrich your course teaching.
Pages are places for instructors to write and present longer, self-contained documents for student use.

Instructors can add a link to a specific Page as an item in a Module alongside other course activities and resources.
Introduction
Modules control the "flow" of your course and its content. Use modules to add weekly organization to your materials and activities. If you think of them as 'folders', Modules can be used to create any sort of organization to the course.
Adding a Module to a Course
From the Modules page, an instructor can add modules, add items to a module, and manage module settings. Instructors can also reorder all modules and module items.
