The Sociocultural Inquiry Requirement Subcommittee (formerly Multicultural Requirement) is primarily responsible for overseeing the Sociocultural Inquiry baccalaureate degree requirement at Stanislaus State.

The responsibilities of the Subcommittee are as follows:

The Assessment of Student Learning Subcommittee provides guidance on the extent and type of academic assessment initiatives.  The specific responsibilities of the Assessment of Student Learning Subcommittee, as formulated by the UEPC, are as follows:

UEPC Subcommittees

There are four standing subcommittees of UEPC: General Education; University Writing, Assessment of Student Learning, and Sociocultural Inquiry Requirement.  Any changes to the charge of the UEPC Subcommittees are approved by the UEPC. The Committee on Committees appoints subcommittee members in consultation with the Chair of UEPC.
