Future and current students and their families will find California State University, Stanislaus on display the weekend of October 16-18 during a pair of special programs designed to introduce them to the campus and professors. CSU Stanislaus is located at One University Circle off Monte Vista Avenue/University Way in Turlock.
The College of the Arts’ Department of Theatre at California State University, Stanislaus is proud to present Machinal, a play by Sophie Treadwell.

In 1928, Brooks Atkinson wrote in the New York Times: “Bay Area Native, Sophie Treadwell’s play Machinal is a crowning achievement in American Expressionism. It is the only play in recent times worthy of presentation…. It will be relevant beyond the present moment…. detached, impersonal, and abstract, it is timeless.”

A limited number of students who are nearing completion of their preparation to become teachers will be admitted to the California State University, Stanislaus Teacher Credential programs for the 2010 Spring semester.
Associated Students, Inc. at California State University, Stanislaus is partnering with the California Transplant Donor Network to participate in the Donate Life California Campus Challenge aimed at registering new organ donors.

Scheduled to run through November 20, the program is part of a competition with other college campuses in California to increase the number of registered organ donors. The campus with the most sign-ups will receive a trophy, according to Sean Newland, ASI Recreation and Wellness Coordinator at CSU Stanislaus.
