Why Earn a Graduate Degree?
Are you ready to advance your career, pursue your passion, and gain expertise in a field of study you love? Earning a graduate degree may be a personal goal, a requirement to earn a promotion or a path to transitioning to a new field. Indeed, the benefits of earning a graduate are numerous.
While a bachelor’s degree may have been the only credential needed to ensure a secure job, in today’s competitive workplace you often need a more advanced degree. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected that from 2016 - 2026 occupations that typically require a master’s degree to entry are projected to grow the fastest at almost 17%.
A Graduate Education
Worth Your Investment.
Earning a graduate degree is an investment in yourself. It’s also an investment in your community. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, those who hold a master’s degree qualify for higher-paying jobs and earn more than those who hold a bachelor’s degree.
The U.S. Census Bureau notes that adults with a graduate degree tend to earn approximately 15% more per year than those who hold a bachelor’s degree. A graduate degree can also help you be more competitive in the job market.
Pursuing a graduate degree can help you make a career change, become more competitive in the job market, and can grow or sharpen your skills. Is it time for you to achieve your goal?
