Campus Cares Program
The Campus Cares Program was founded on the principle of helping those who need it most. When a student experiences a personal crisis or an emergency situation, they may be overwhelmed by the circumstances of the situation. Campus Cares can provide temporary emergency funding to provide timely support when critically needed. Recognizing that unforeseen financial emergencies will occur for students, the Campus Cares Program can help meet the immediate needs of students experiencing crisis situations.
Assistance is available through temporary emergency funding to qualified students and is designed to provide temporary, short-term, financial assistance to students who are managing demanding academic requirements while struggling with unexpected financial circumstances. Qualified students are rendered assistance in the form of single, one-time awards. Emergency funding is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses, and these awards are not loans that students are expected to repay. The value of the award will range in response to the needs of the student.

Challenges can be unexpected. For some students, the financial impact of a fire, temporary homelessness, an unexpected auto expense, injury or loss of a family member could derail their University experience. We want every student to have the opportunity to complete their Stanislaus State journey. The Student Emergency Fund through Stan State California Faculty Association Campus Cares Fund provides immediate financial assistance to Stanislaus State students who encounter temporary financial hardships due to an emergency situation, crisis or catastrophic event. This assistance can be what keeps their academic goals on track.
