Expanding Opportunities

As part of our recruitment efforts, we have partnered with various correctional facilities, Parole and Probation, and Community Partners throughout San Joaquin County and Stanislaus County. Project Rebound provides informational workshops on its programs and services, along with the admissions process and enrollment requirements. Our team provides guidance to those currently and formerly incarcerated looking to pursue higher education; we assist through the enrollment process and provide additional resources and referrals to those who are not yet eligible.

Our team also works closely with staff and students at San Joaquin Delta College and Modesto Junior College. Transfer workshops are provided to formerly incarcerated students, preparing them for important deadlines, admissions application, and enrollment processes. We provide one-on-one appointments to students to ensure they are informed of the requirements to be eligible for transfer.

Who can participate?

Students who were previously incarcerated are eligible and welcome to participate in Project Rebound. You must be currently enrolled at Stanislaus State or express interest when transferring to Stanislaus State.

Give to Project Rebound

Our program supports the higher education and successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals wishing to enroll and succeed at Stanislaus State. By connecting students with critical resources, Project Rebound constructs an alternative to the revolving door policy of mass incarceration and increases community strength and safety.
