Contact your loan servicer before you miss a payment on your Federal Student Loan(s). 
If you are having trouble making payments your loan servicer can advise you on: repayment plans, deferment, or forbearance. 
Depending on your economic situation at the time your loan servicer can help set you up with the best option to meet your needs.

The California Dream Act of 2011 allows students who meet AB540 criteria to apply for and receive certain state and institutional financial assistance programs.

We understand that life happens—and sometimes your financial aid application doesn’t reflect your current situation. If your financial circumstances have changed, the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office may be able to review your situation through a process called Professional Judgment (PJ).

Pell Program Limit

The maximum Pell Grant an eligible student may receive is for the equivalent of 12 full-time semesters or six years (600% of their Pell Grant eligibility). Visit the NSLDS website to determine the percentage of Pell Grant you have received.
