Can’t find the words to express yourself? This group offers an opportunity for self-expression through the language of art. Bring your own art materials and join your peers virtually for an hour of self- exploration, expression and healing through drawing, writing, and mindfulness. No prior artistic experience is necessary and sharing of your creation is optional.  This group will be Zoom only.

You will learn ways to stop being so hard on yourself and gain practical skills to help bring self-compassion into your daily life. This group will be experiential and full of discussion so be prepared to participate! This group will be hybrid.

First-Gen Friday's (FGF) is a workshop series presented by the Academic Success Center. The workshop series is a collaborative effort to promote the visibility of Stanislaus State staff, faculty, and alumni leaders who were themselves, first-generation college students.
