Solutions Through Empowerment: Why Health & Education Matter to Climate Change.  Worldwide, population pressures contribute to immediate dangers like food insecurity, natural resource scarcity, inequality, and climate-changing emissions. Yet, the relationship between population and climate change is complex.

The Department of Ethnic Studies invites all students, faculty and staff members to meet our candidate, Mayo Buenafe-Ze, for the tenure-track position with emphasis of Asian American Studies.  This is a non-formal open forum to ask our candidate any questions or get to know the individual.

Biography

Nigel Parry began his photographic career in London in 1988 and moved to New York City in 1994. Since then, he has been commissioned by the most distinguished publications, advertising agencies, entertainment, corporate and music companies worldwide. He has been privileged to photograph not only celebrities but also the most important and influential figures of our time.

We have a twist on the famous TED talks, and we are bringing you some of the most influential relatable local speakers to inspire and motivate you. Join us for light refreshments as we hear the insights of alumni Rita Gouda Long, Public Information Officer, and Nicole Larson, paralegal and former Turlock City Council Member.

The first 150 students to attend the event will receive a Titus Talks travel tumbler and stickers.
