A free program conducted by a pair of California State University, Stanislaus professors titled "Writing Workshop for Women" that focuses on the healing process for victims of rape and abuse will be held at the Women's Center of San Joaquin County in Stockton on Thursday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. University Teacher Education Professors and authors Brenda Betts and Pamela Russ of the "Healing Ourselves Project" will coordinate the program in the Fireside Room at the Stockton location.
Students will soon have a new form of online access to their academic information as California State University, Stanislaus introduces its "my.CSUSTAN" Student Center.

The California State University, Stanislaus College of Business Administration will present special recognition awards to seven business and community leaders and to Kaiser Permanente on Thursday, May 15 at the Eighth Annual Recognition and Awards Banquet scheduled for 6 p.m. in the University Union Event Center. Open to invited guests and the media, the program will also recognize the achievements of CSU Stanislaus CBA students, faculty, staff, alumni, members of the Business Advisory Board, and business leaders from the region.
A documentary film project by a Lodi High School video production class on issues such as racism, teen drug abuse, and campus cliques that includes commentary by California State University, Stanislaus History Professor Samuel Regalado will make its debut at the University on Tuesday, May 13.

Admission is free and open to the public for the 6 p.m. film preview in the Student Lounge of the CSU Stanislaus Student Union. Regalado, who served in an advisory role to the student group, will lead a panel discussion after the film is shown at CSU Stanislaus.
