California State University, Stanislaus is making plans to offer an Executive Master of Business Administration degree program in Tracy starting in August. The 15-month, 36-unit program will offer an aggregate of courses in the University's Accounting & Finance and Management, Operations, & Marketing departments. Classes will be held on Saturdays in the downtown Tracy Fire Administration Building training facility.
Dr. Diana Demetrulias, Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for Assessment and Quality Assurance at California State University, Stanislaus, has been selected as one of the Outstanding Women of Stanislaus County for 2007.

A senior female administrator at CSU Stanislaus where she has served since 1983, Demetrulias is one of 14 women who will be honored by the Stanislaus County Commission for Women at an awards dinner on Saturday, March 17 at the Assyrian Cultural Center of Bet-Nahrain in Ceres.
You may have heard today that CFA voted in favor of a strike. We do not know yet if or when a strike will take place at CSU Stanislaus, but we will keep you informed.

If a strike does take place on campus, rest assured that all student services will remain open - the library, the Student Union, campus dining, the bookstore, the cashier's office, etc... Your educational experience will not be harmed.

The Department of Music is pleased to present the Stanislaus Scratch Band, Stuart Sims, conductor, in a special engagement with renowned composer/DJ, Mason Bates. The concert will feature a unique blend of classical and contemporary music techniques showcasing the electronica stylings of Masonic and MarBassMann.

More than 100 colleges and universities from all over the United States will take part in the Central Valley Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) College Fair on Monday, April 30 at California State University, Stanislaus.

The event in Warrior Arena includes morning and evening sessions, starting with a 9 a.m. to noon program and ending with another from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is free and open to all 9th through 11th grade high school students and prospective college transfer students and their parents.

Paul Dolan, a wine company executive, author, and Chair of the California Wine Institute, will speak at California State University, Stanislaus on Thursday, April 19 about sustaining the future of agriculture.

"Sustainability in Agriculture: Leadership and its Responsibility for the Future" is the topic of his presentation scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Gemperle Lecture Hall (Room 167) in Demergasso-Bava Hall. Admission is free and open to the public, and parking is free in the University's Crowell Road parking lot.
