Mission Statement
The mission of the Student Success Center is to increase the diversity and number of students entering undergraduate and post-baccalaureate teacher preparation programs by providing program-specific support to Liberal Studies and Teacher Education graduate students in a nurturing environment that fosters belonging, self-efficacy, and well-being.
About the COEKSW Student Success Center
The College of Education, Kinesiology, and Social Work Student Success Center offers a comprehensive range of services to students including in-person and virtual academic advising to undergraduate Liberal Studies students or students interested in applying to a credential program. We are committed to creating a clear pathway for graduation and guide you as you transition into a credential program or graduate program.

Announcements & Resources
Students applying to the Spring 2027 credential programs are strongly encouraged to attend an Information Workshop and/or an Application Workshop for guidance and support. For more information, visit the Teacher Education website. Please note that late applications will not be accepted.

Advising
- Students seeking advising on Clinical Practice (student teaching/interning), please contact Field Services.
- Students seeking advising on the Early Childhood Education Credential PK-3, please contact CAPE.
Fall 2026 Semester Dates
- Days of Instruction: August 19 - December 8, 2026
- Final Examinations: December 10 - 16, 2026
- Census Date: September 16, 2026 - Last day to add and/or drop a class for fall Semester.
