Environmental & Resource Studies Minor
The minor in Environmental and Resource Studies is an interdisciplinary program, housed in Geography and Environmental Resources, open to students in any major. It is intended for students who are concerned with environmental and resource issues and with the interactions of natural systems and social processes. The focus of the minor is on the complex problems of human-environment relationships.

Geography Minor
Complete 18 units of Geography coursework including 3 units of lower-division Geography courses and at least 15 units in upper-division courses approved by the minor adviser. These upper-division units must include a minimum of one course from each of the following four categories:
- Cultural/Social Geography
- Physical Geography & Environmental Studies
- Geospatial Technology
- Global Studies and Development
Alternatively, students may choose to specialize in one area of Geography by taking upper-division classes in one of the concentrations listed above.
