Communications & Public Affairs

The Office of Communications & Public Affairs (CPA) promotes the university to a variety of constituencies and provides marketing and creative services to the campus.

The CPA staff provides leadership for branding and marketing Stanislaus State through publications, Web and graphic design, photography, and writing. The department strives to ensure that a consistent message and image are sent from all colleges and departments across the campus.

CPA is the University’s representative to local, regional, and national media organizations. The unit promotes public awareness, engagement and support for the University and its mission through internal and external communications and media relations efforts. CPA shapes the strategy, operations and culture of the University by providing leadership and strategic direction for the university’s overall marketing efforts and individual campaigns. We collaborate with campus staff and communication partners to ensure Stan State's brand and messages are consistently, accurately and effectively communicated to key audiences and inspire them to take action.
