Wristband and Honor Cord Distribution
Starting Wednesday, March 20, registered Class of 2024 graduates can pick up a Graduate Wristband Packet. A Graduate Wristband Packet includes 1 graduate wristband, 5 guest wristbands and a graduate name card. All items will be required to participate in the upcoming Class of 2024 Commencement. Graduate Wristband Packets can be picked up through May 17. Commencement registration is required. If you have not registered for your ceremony, please register in advance.

Graduates eligible to graduate with honors may also pick up their honor cords starting Wednesday, March 20. To review honors eligibility, please visit the Commencement website. - Registration will take place on WarriorLife.
- Graduate registration will include five guest wristbands for the graduate's ceremony.
- Wristbands will be available for pickup on campus on Wednesday, March 20. — Friday, May 17.
- Honor cords will be available for pickup on Wednesday, March 20. — Friday, May 17.

Eligibility
The Class of 2024 Commencement ceremonies will recognize students graduating in the fall 2023, spring 2024 and summer 2024 terms. To participate, students must be from an eligible term, must have applied for graduation by the deadline (March 15), and be registered to participate in their assigned ceremony. Commencement registration opens Wednesday, Feb. 28 and closes Friday, March 29.
Graduates eligible for an academic honor cord will receive an email in mid-March with instructions on pick up. Graduates are eligible when both their cumulative grade point average (GPA) and Stanislaus State GPA meet the following:
Cum Laude, 3.40-3.59
- Graduating with Honor; Awarded gold and red cords.
Magna Cum Laude, 3.60-3.79
- Graduating with Great Honor; Awarded gold and silver cords.
Summa Cum Laude, 3.80 and +

Graduating with the Highest Honor; Awarded gold cords.

The last day to place an order online is May 2. Online regalia orders may take up to 3-4 weeks to process. It is highly recommended that you purchase regalia as soon as you can. Regalia is also available for same-day purchase at the University Bookstore.
Wearing Your Regalia
Wear your cap and gown and place your stole(s) and honor cord(s) over.
Fixing your tassel:
- Bachelors - Right Side
- Masters and Doctoral - Left Side
Graduate Students - Unbutton the hood and carry it over your left arm.
Credential Students - Carry the credential cord over your left arm.
This in-person session will provide a general overview of what to expect at Commencement, includes a walkthrough of the Amphitheater, seating and explanation of the student procession line up. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
