Eligibility
The Class of 2025 recognizes students completing their major/program coursework in the fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025 terms. To participate in the ceremonies, students must be from an eligible term, must have applied for graduation by the deadline, and should be registered to participate in their assigned ceremony. Commencement registration is now closed. Registration was open from February 26 through March 28, 2025. Graduates who applied for graduation with Enrollment Services before the deadline of March 14 received an invitation to register via their student email.
Honors Eligibility
Students from undergraduate degree-earning programs may graduate with academic honors when both their cumulative grade point average (GPA) and Stanislaus State grade point average (GPA) meet the following:
Cum Laude, 3.40-3.59
- Graduating with honor; awarded gold and red cords.
Magna Cum Laude, 3.60-3.79
- Graduating with great honor; awarded gold and silver cords.
Summa Cum Laude, 3.80 and +
- Graduating with the highest honor; awarded gold cords.
