Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Graduate Celebrations honor the accomplishments and experiences of Stan State graduates, celebrating the diverse communities to which they belong. Celebrations include AANHPI Grad, Assyrian Grad, Black Grad, Chicanx Grad, Indigenous Grad, Lavender Grad, Monarch Grad and the Stockton Graduate Celebration. 

Participation in Graduate Celebrations is separate from the Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremonies. Graduate Celebrations are voluntary and open to all graduating students who would like to participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

Graduate Celebrations

6 - 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026

The Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Graduate Celebration commemorates the academic achievements, cultural heritage and resilience of Stan State’s graduating AANHPI students. This event honors the diverse traditions, histories and contributions of the AANHPI community while providing a supportive space for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments.

The Assyrian Graduate Celebration is a vibrant and inclusive ceremony honoring the achievements of graduating Assyrian students. This special event recognizes the resilience, strength, and contributions of students who have embraced their identities while excelling academically.

The Black Graduation Celebration is a deeply meaningful ceremony that pays homage to the resilience, excellence and cultural heritage of our graduates. Come together with friends, family, faculty and staff to commemorate this special milestone in the lives of our students.

We are very excited to welcome family, friends and others to help us celebrate our Chicanx graduating class of 2026! The goal of the Chicanx Graduation Celebration is to host a culturally meaningful celebration that reflects Chicanx culture and values.

We would like to celebrate you all in the second annual Indigenous Graduation Celebration on Unceded Northern Valley Yokuts Territories. This celebration will celebrate and welcome Indigenous graduates.

Warriors, get ready to celebrate and recognize your hard work while creating unforgettable memories with your friends, family and allies at Lavender Grad. Lavender Grad is to recognize and celebrate the achievements and resilience of LGBTQIA+ graduating students. This annual event honors both undergraduate and graduate students.

7 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026

The Monarch Grad Ceremony is open to all undocumented students and mix status families who would like to participate and celebrate their academic and personal achievements. The annual event is hosted by Undocumented Student Services.

Graduate Celebrations honor the accomplishments and experiences of Stan State graduates, celebrating the diverse communities to which they belong. Graduates can register for any celebration! Graduate Celebrations are separate from Commencement. Participating students must sign up for each individual celebration. Graduate Celebrations are voluntary and open to all graduating students who would like to participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

To register, visit the Warrior Life registration pages for Graduate Celebrations. You will need to register separately for each ceremony you wish to participate in. You can register in any and all ceremonies. Please be sure to sign up by the registration deadline(s).

Yes. Registering for Commencement does not automatically register you for a celebration and registering for the Graduate Celebrations does not automatically register you for Commencement. You must register for both separately.

Each ceremony will take place at a designated location, separate from the main Commencement ceremonies.

Regalia is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. Each event will have photographers capturing photos of graduating students throughout the event.

Celebrations will be conducted in English. However, the cultural elements of each ceremony will reflect the unique heritage and traditions of the community being celebrated.

No, participation is entirely free for most celebrations. Graduates can register for any Graduate Celebration they identify with at no charge, except for the Chicanx Graduate Celebration, which has a $50 fee.
