The Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) is a statewide organization that provides professional development, networking and community outreach opportunities to college students who are on the road to becoming K-12 educators

Our Goal

SCTA's goal is to inspire and foster exemplary future teachers in eduaction by providing opportunities to develope professionally.

 Interest in careers in K-12 education (future teacher)
Enrolled student at California State University, Stanislaus
2.0 cumulative GPA
2 approved volunteer activities per semester

Fall 2017 SCTA Meeting Schedule

The Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) will hold a general meeting on Wednesday, October 18th from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. 

A representative from the Ceres Unified School District Human Resources Department will share information on the application and hiring protocol for prospective teachers and insights on how to stand out in the Job Market.

All are welcome. 
No registration required.
