The women of Alpha Xi Delta are dedicated to academics, sisterhood, and philanthropic endeavors. We have proven this dedication by consecutively having the #1 GPA among the national sororities on campus and raising over $20,000 in the last few years for our community.
Since Alpha Xi Delta’s founding in 1893, these dedications are the result of our sisterhood's vision to help women realize their potential. With over 100 chapters nationwide, we can call many amazing women our sisters. Here at Stanislaus State, we have a welcoming tight-knit sisterhood that offers each sister a home away from home.
The Anthropology Program is a dynamic academic program that offers our majors a diverse set of courses in cultural anthropology, archaeology, biological anthropology and linguistics. We value hands-on experiential learning and field experiences. We also offer minors in Anthropology, Medical Anthropology, and Museums Studies. In addition we offer many lower and upper division General Education courses.
The Department of Art fosters creativity and critical thinking by offering students the opportunity to explore diverse art-making processes and the history of art and design. With a vibrant faculty of practicing artists and scholars, the department provides a range of programs, including Bachelor of Arts in Art, Art History, or Studio Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, as well as minors in Art, Art History and Museum Studies.
We welcome students who have a passion and/or appreciation for art, no matter their background in art, we want to encourage them to bring out their creativity!
Associated Students, Inc. is a student-run organization that provides programs and services to enhance and support the student experience. ASI provides students with co-curricular events and activities through student government involvement opportunities, event programming and community service opportunities.
The University Student Center is in the center of campus and serves as the hub of Student Engagement. While the Student Center as a facility provides a safe space for students to engage, empower and transform our student body, the Student Center is much more than just a building. The University Student Center is a student-run organization that provides students with co-curricular events and activities.
ASPIRE is a federally funded grant in the College of Science that supports students in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Math, Physics, and Physical Science majors. We provide advising, workshops, tutoring, paid research positions, and paid internship opportunities.
Basic Needs supports students with addressing food, housing, and financial insecurity. Services and programs include: Warrior Food Pantry and Food Distribution, CalFresh Food and Healthy Living, Emergency Grants, Temporary Housing Assistance, and Housing Navigation.
Eating on campus means enjoying a wide range of fresh cuisines prepared by Chef Edwin. Campus dining also offers vegan and vegetarian menu options, locally sourced produce and promotes sustainability—even more reasons to enjoy Warrior Eats!
Campus Recreation provides inclusive, innovative, and dynamic recreational programs. We are committed to inspiring lifelong health and wellness by providing opportunities for personal growth and fitness achievement.

Our goal as Circle K is to create an environment that allows our members to grow individually and as a group in order to become better citizens and leaders. We hope to create the change we want to see in the world by starting with ourselves and doing our part. One of the main ways we do this is through giving and service.
College Corps provides 100 undergraduate Stanislaus State students opportunities to support and learn from organizations and programs on and off-campus in four priority areas: K-12 Education, Climate Action, Food Insecurity, and Health and Housing Disparities. Students will be doing community service in one of the four priority areas and earn up to $10,000!
Mission: Our mission is to create a supportive and affirming community where students in recovery can thrive academically, personally, and socially. Through peer support, advocacy, and education, we strive to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and promote holistic well-being among our members. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that encourages personal growth, connection, and empowerment for all students in recovery.
Continuing and professional education (CaPE) provides courses and programs that connect campus and community; are aligned with regional needs and interests; support employment opportunity and professional advancement; impactfully serve diverse adult learners and working professionals; consider workforce needs; and are fiscally sound. This includes special session undergraduate degree completion, graduate degree, and academic credit certificate programs; winter session; and Open University (OU) offered in collaboration with academic partners. Courses are delivered in online, hybrid, and accelerated formats to promote access and learner success.
Counseling & Psychological Services provides professional, ethical, and confidential psychological counseling to students. Voluntary, non-coerced participation is emphasized. Students can arrange individual appointments with a professional counselor. All counseling faculty are licensed clinicians and have extensive training and experience assisting students with a wide range of psychological and interpersonal concerns.
The Department of English offers students an array of degree programs, exciting courses, and opportunities for faculty/student interaction. Guided by the conviction that language and literature shape lives and cultures, department faculty offer both traditional and contemporary courses. Students can study anything from Shakespeare to Multicultural California Literature, from courses in Milton to courses in Gender and Sexuality, Early American Captivity Narratives, Horror in Literature and Culture, Film, Screenwriting, Pulp Detective Fiction, or Children's Literature.
You'll leave Stanislaus State grounded in both the classical and the contemporary, and you'll be well-prepared to move towards graduate school or a career having fortified your analytical and communicative skills and imaginative powers. English Majors can earn a degree in Literature, TESOL, or Teacher Education.
The mission of Disability Resource Service is to facilitate inclusion by reducing/eliminating barriers, whether they are attitudinal, structural, programmatic, or otherwise. In doing so, students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to become successful through their own efforts and are not held back by artificial barriers. We strive to develop partnerships with students, faculty, staff, and other university and community offices by creating awareness and training on disability-related issues as well as providing information and referral services.
Established in 1987, The Faculty Mentor Program is a faculty-administered program that promotes faculty-student interaction through a mentoring relationship. Participants enjoy one-on-one interactions with faculty members outside of the classroom setting. Proteges receive personal support, increased self-esteem, educational and career advice, and life long friendships.
The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office administers Federal and State financial aid programs and University scholarship funds available to help students meet their educational expenses.
The Gaming Club provides a space for students to relax and socialize while playing games with others. We also host events for tournaments, off-campus social outings, and have collaborations with other organizations.
The Geography & Environmental Resources, B.S. is one of the few degrees that comfortably bridges Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Geography & Environmental Resources is the ideal major for students interested in solving real-world environmental and social problems. The program provides students with the skills and academic framework needed to help create a more sustainable and just future. Students who complete the program are well prepared to advance to graduate school or to enter the work world where they are increasingly likely to find rewarding jobs. Geography Environmental Resources graduates work in a variety of fields including urban and regional planning, GIS analysis, water resources, environmental education, environmental analysis, climatology, transportation, resource management, marketing, natural hazards, tourism, international business, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. The demand for geographical information science skills is increasing in all areas of the economy.

The McNair Scholars Program at Stanislaus State is a federally funded TRIO program designed to support high-achieving, first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students in their pursuit of graduate education, particularly at the doctoral level. Named in honor of Dr. Ronald E. McNair, the NASA astronaut and physicist who was dedicated to expanding educational opportunities, the program is committed to empowering students through mentorship, research, and professional development. Key features of the McNair Scholars Program include: Research Opportunities: Scholars engage in independent research projects, gaining hands-on experience in their fields with guidance from faculty mentors. Graduate School Preparation: The program offers workshops, seminars, and advising focused on preparing students for graduate school, including assistance with GRE preparation, application processes, and finding funding opportunities. Summer Research Internship: Many scholars participate in a summer research internship that allows them to dedicate time and resources to their projects, furthering their experience and enhancing their applications. Academic and Personal Support: Scholars receive personalized academic advising, mentorship, and support to help navigate the challenges of higher education and prepare for graduate studies. The purpose of the Mini-Corps program is to recruit current undergraduate students from CSU Stanislaus to serve as tutors in various Stanislaus School Districts. Through this experience, our tutors gain valuable hands-on teaching practice, develop effective teaching strategies, and enhance their qualifications for future admission to the credential program.
The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the largest organization for women’s-only sororities, made up of 26 member groups. It advocates for the value of sorority life, highlighting how it helps women develop leadership skills, form lifelong friendships, and make a positive impact. NPC supports sorority women’s philanthropy efforts, with millions of dollars and volunteer hours dedicated to causes like sexual assault prevention and promoting healthy campus cultures. It also connects college and alumnae sororities to build a strong, supportive network across the country. Through programs and resources, NPC helps sorority women grow and ensures that the sorority experience continues to meet their needs today.

Our club is a student organization for behavioral analysis that is focused on the study and application of behavior analysis, a scientific approach to understanding and modifying behavior. Members typically engage in discussions, workshops, and events related to topics related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The club may offer opportunities for networking, professional development, and collaboration for individuals pursuing careers related to ABA in psychology, education, therapy, or related fields.
The Student Success Center (SSC) in the College of Business Administration advises undergraduate Business Administration students at Stanislaus State. The Warrior Fab Lab is a place for innovation through a variety of active learning experiences. Our digital fabrication lab is equipped with the latest tools, machines, and software and technology available to the entire Stan State community. We are open to all Stan State students, staff, and faculty members to create, learn, mentor, and invent. The Fab Lab has trained staff to help bring your ideas to life. The space is designed for a hands-on approach to cross-disciplinary studies and community building through a combination of analog and digital processes whether for personal enrichment, research, teaching, and collaborations.
