Both Warrior Welcomes are for students admitted to Stanislaus State and are free. Students have the option to attend as many welcome events as they want. Nonetheless, the Stockton Warrior Welcome caters to transfer students interested in completing all or most of their academic studies at the Stockton Campus. It is an opportunity to tour the campus, receive an overview of the services and academic programs, and learn about the unique student experience at the Stockton location.
No, Warrior Welcome differs from the mandatory New Student Orientation (NSO). Transfer orientation occurs in July. Students will automatically be registered for orientation after they submit their intent to enroll. The NSO team will send notification of your assigned date and more information about orientation.
Students that have applied to Stanislaus State and have yet to be notified of their admission are welcome to attend this event. Admissions staff will be available to answer questions. Admitted students are not required to attend Warrior Welcome.
Yes, you can arrive when you can and leave when you want. The event is designed so you can attend any session you are interested in learning more about.
