On March 11, 2021 the American Rescue Plan (ARP), Public Law 117-2, awarded $19,343,615 million additional dollars to Stanislaus State in Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (referred to as HEERF III), was signed into law. Information on this page relates to HEERF III funding. The purpose of this funding is to provide students that may have experienced loss of employment or other financial support due to the COVID-19 emergency.
Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide some relief from the economic fallout related to the COVID-19 pandemic. One element of CARES Act funding is the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF II).

The cost of attendance is the amount the University estimates that the student will spend to attend college for the academic year. The cost of attendance usually includes tuition and fees, living expenses, books, course materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation, as well as miscellaneous personal expenses.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act is used to apply for federal and state financial aid at Stanislaus State. You can apply electronically at the FAFSA website or at the CA Dream Act website. You must include Stanislaus State's Federal School Code on the FAFSA or Dream Act application, 001157.
