This Way To Sustainability (TWTS) Conference is a nationally recognized, student-run conference focusing on challenges, ideas, solutions, and resiliency in planning our sustainable future. The conference hosts 1,400 participants each year, with a variety of respected students and professionals speaking on the many aspects of sustainability. The goal of the conference is to educate students, staff, faculty, and community members, providing attendees an opportunity to network, discuss, and become more aware of pertinent environmental and social issues we all face.

A white anti-racist writer and educator. A Puerto Rico native and first-generation high school and college graduate who teaches about U.S. Latinx Caribbean, Afro Latinx, and Afro Hispanic literature and culture. A renowned playwright who rose from the fields of Delano and worked with the United Farm Workers to Hollywood success. These speakers are set to launch the Stanislaus State Warrior Cross Cultural Center’s Diversity Speaker Series.
Stanislaus State Alumna Jenny Yang (B.A. in liberal studies) is drawing from her education and culture to teach third graders in a Hmong dual language immersion program at Vang Pao Elementary in Fresno. The program is one of two Hmong dual language immersion programs in California and one of five in the United States. She is also one of the first Hmong American educators to be a part of the program.

Brought to you by the WCCC, The Norris-Rocaberte Family Foundation, and the Cesar E. Chavez Committee. This event is also part of the 27th Annual "Si Se Puede" event honoring Central Valley Farmworker Leaders such as Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta, and Larry Itliong.
