This 90-minute workshop will delineate the differences between sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation, speak on using accurate/appropriate language when interacting with LGBTQ+ individuals, help you understand how demographic-related characteristics of this population and “minority stress” affect health and mental health while discussing how traditional stigmas associated with the LGBTQ+ Community.
The University Library will be screening two classic scary movies! At 2 p.m. we will show, Dracula (1931) in Spanish with English subtitles, and at 4:30 p.m. we will show the zombie cult classic, Night of the Living Dead (1968) to celebrate Halloween.
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to wear a costume to the show.
