The Office of Graduate Studies and Research is hosting information sessions for the California Pre-Doctoral (Pre-Doc) Program and the Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP).

The California Pre-Doctoral Program is designed to increase the pool of potential California State University faculty by supporting the doctoral aspirations of CSU students who have experienced economic and educational disadvantages.  Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are qualified to apply for this scholarship.

This workshop is designed for all students, staff, and faculty wanting to learn about securing UIRB approval to conduct research that involves human subjects. This workshop will guide participants in preparing a UIRB application and will cover the UIRB review/approval process.

UIRB staff will lead the workshop along with an experienced IRB reviewer; they will be available to answer questions about the UIRB process.

You will learn ways to stop being so hard on yourself and gain practical skills to help bring inner strength and resiliency into your daily life. The Office of Graduate Studies and Research would like to invite the Grad Faculty Mentor & Director Workshop to learn about important graduate academic policies, admission processes, and other topics related to graduate programs on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023! The workshop will be held in Library 102 and online from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. All faculty and staff are welcome, and appetizers and refreshments will be served.
