. . . And homeless near a thousand homes I stood.

  • November 3–December 23, 2016
  • Reception: Thursday, November 3, 2016

An exploration of the problems of homelessness in our communities in photography, painted collage and poetry, Dixie Salazar’s vision is full of irony, humor and beauty, balanced by humanitarian concern and viable solutions. The artwork recycles images and scraps of discarded materials into vibrantly colored compositions. Salazar will also read some of her poetry and talk about her involvement in homeless activism.
