Stanislaus State’s RN to BSN program in the School of Nursing recently earned an impressive ranking from RNCareers.org.   

The organization named the program among the top 10 RN to BSN programs in California, ranking it No. 2 in the state as part of the organization’s eighth annual Nursing School Awards. Additionally, RNCareers.org has ranked the School of Nursing as No. 13 in the state and No. 30 nationally.  

Several Stanislaus State alumni from the College of Education, Kinesiology and Social Work were honored for their accomplishments, service and impact in the community.

Visit the Black History Month Exhibit at both the Turlock & Stockton Campus. The poster exhibit will honor and pay tribute to important African American figures past and present.

The Turlock campus exhibit will be located on the second floor of the J. Burton Vasche Library.

The Stockton Council (STKC)

The Stockton Council is composed of a Chair and Chair-elect, a faculty representative from each program offered at the Stockton Campus, a Stockton campus non-MPP staff person, and a student representative with a one-year term, appointed by Associated Students. The Dean of the Stockton Campus shall serve as executive secretary to the Council and shall be a voting member.

Smoke & Vape Free Scholars Initiative (SVFSI)

The second cohort of the SVFSI bring together students from Biology, Nursing, Public Health Promotion, Psychology, and a graduate student from Social Work.  Each one of them are recipient of a scholarship, allowing them to expand their knowledge on tobacco control as well as being part of a UC Merced Research Group and a local public health department.

Science in Our Community will be holding a lesson planning workshop for individuals interested in developing activities for the outreach program.
