Frequently Asked Questions

Learn how to join an Alumni Chapter and/or start a new Alumni Chapter.

To start a chapter, submit an Alumni Chapter Request Form with at least 12 active Alumni Association members. Include proposed bylaws and gain endorsements from the Director of Alumni Relations and the relevant college/unit. The Alumni Council reviews and approves requests.

A recognized chapter is an official alumni group with a shared affinity, such as profession or location. It is authorized by the Alumni Association, complies with its policies, and receives support to host events, network, and engage alumni and students.

Join a chapter by attending its meetings or events. Contact the chapter chair or the Department of Alumni Relations for more information. Chapters offer opportunities to connect, network, and give back to Stan State through service and support.
