The Advisory Council plays a pivotal role in strengthening connections between alumni and the broader Stan State community by serving as the elected advisory body of the Alumni Association. Acting as a bridge between California State University, Stanislaus, its alumni, students, the University community, and the public, the council works to achieve several key goals:

  • Enhancing Stan State’s reputation as a premier institution of learning.
  • Fostering stronger relationships between the University, its communities, and its students and alumni.
  • Supporting University initiatives, including fundraising efforts, programs, and events.
  • Providing alumni with services and benefits that enhance the value of their Stan State experience post-graduation.
  • Instilling a sense of pride in alumni for their alma mater.
  • Assisting students and alumni in their career pursuits.

Through its programs and initiatives, the council actively promotes engagement, pride, and collaboration, furthering the mission of Stanislaus State and strengthening the bonds that connect the entire University community.
