Advocacy
CSU Voices is the California State University’s advocacy community that keeps CSU alumni informed of the issues shaping the future of the CSU system. By taking simple actions like sending messages to elected leaders, you can influence state and federal policy decisions that affect students, campuses, and communities. Volunteer with Stan State
We’re looking for dedicated alumni who want to stay connected and make a meaningful impact by supporting campus events and programs. Volunteering is a great way to give back, reconnect with the Warrior community, and help create memorable experiences for our students.
Volunteer opportunities throughout the year may include:
- Commencement – Assist with one of the most meaningful milestones in a student’s journey by supporting event logistics and celebrating our graduates.
- Guest Speaking & Panels – Share your professional experience and insights with students through classroom visits, career panels, or special programs.
- University & Signature Events – Support high-level campus events, alumni gatherings, and special celebrations that connect students, alumni, and campus leaders.

Guiding ALumni And first-gen in mentoring and science eXcEllence - Alumni Mentor Interest
Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor for the CSU Stanislaus College of Science Guiding ALumni And first-gen in mentoring and science eXcEllence (GALAX-E). GALAX-E is designed to provide additional support for first-generation second year science majors that are demonstrating a need for career mentors. Working alongside College of Science faculty and staff, alumni mentors will build community, a sense of belonging, and collective success as a cohort. With your support, our goal is to see an increase in GPA and retention of participating students, increase alumni engagement, and provide support for parent understanding needs for college success.
Black Alumni Chapter Mentoring
Connect with Black alumni that attended Stan State to build a supportive network and gain valuable insights from their experiences.
The Alumni Association at Stanislaus State is delighted to announce the formation of the Black Alumni Chapter.
Through chapters and networks, alumni can stay involved in the University in ways the establish a mutually beneficial relationship between Stan State and its alumni and friends. The Black Alumni Chapter is aimed at fostering a supportive and engaged community among our Black alumni and students.
We invite you to join the Black Alumni Chapter and consider participating in our mentorship program. This program will allow you to share your experiences, provide guidance, and support current Black students as they navigate their academic and professional paths.
