The festival is a celebration of guitar studies and performances featuring guest artist concerts, lectures and master classes that involve the Stan State Guitar Studio and the Central Valley Guitar Community. The festival will open with a Flamenco concert on Thursday, October 19th (Flamenco Puro) and encompass master classes, workshops and a guest artists recital on Friday, October 10th (Carlos Santi and Isaac Bustos). The closing Gala Concert will feature our guest artists, students and students from other institutions in the California Central Valley.

The Anthropology Club would like to host a movie night where we show a movie/documentary recommended by one of our department faculty. For this event we want to show Ixcanul (Volcano) a 2015 film which is 1h 31m long. We plan on just showing the movie as an open event with no RSVP.
