The 8th Annual Ethnic Studies Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at California State University, Stanislaus. This year’s theme, "Inner Work, Public Acts," explores the intersections of community engagement, healing justice, and transformative activism. Bringing together scholars, activists, artists, and holistic practitioners, the conference will feature critical dialogues, creative workshops, and educational panels that bridge wellness and social change.

The University Art Galleries invites you to the reception for the exhibition Complex Ecologies by Jessica Gomula-Kruzic, Stan State Art Department faculty. This video installation exhibition will have a reception Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 6:00--8:00 p.m. with an artist talk at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the reception is free of charge, and parking is available in Parking Lot #2.

Join us to celebrate Kha b'Nissan at Stan State as we learn about the Assyrian culture, its history and migration. Later, stop by the live performance by Ashur Dawood and experience traditional dances and learn about Stan State resources.
