California State University, Stanislaus student Theodore Ness and alumna Mally Youthsavath died in a car collision on Highway 99 Friday morning, September 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle driven by Ted Ness was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of Highway 99 around 2 a.m. when it struck the vehicle driven by Mally Youthsavath (traveling northbound in the northbound lane). Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

California State University, Stanislaus' production of the musical "Little Shop of Horrors" has been selected for participation in the 2007 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival XXXIX, Region XIII. The Regional Festival, encompassing colleges and universities in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii, Guam, and American Samoa, attracted 58 entries of which 10 have been invited to be showcased at the KCACTF Regional Festival, February 12-17, in Cedar City, Utah.
Atlanta, GA (Feb. 13, 2007) - California State University, Stanislaus nabbed a bronze award for its redesigned Web site in the 22nd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards, the Admissions Marketing Report announced recently.
