Campus GE Discussions
On Friday, February 16, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M. in the FDC 118 members of the University Educational Policies Committee (UEPC) and the General Education Subcommittee of the UEPC, representatives from the Department of English and the Department of Mathematics, and the offices of the Provost and Enrollment Services held the 1st General Education Forum providing an overview and answer questions about policy requirements and strategies for revisions to ensure compliance. The following information was shared at the forum:

The 2nd General Education Forum was held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. in the South Dining Hall. Light refreshments available as early as 9:15 A.M. was provided by the Office of the Provost.
Based on conversations in governance committees, a subgroup including the chair and chair-elect of the UEPC, the Faculty Director for General Education, and the chair of the GE Subcommittee developed the Draft Proposed Changed to the General Education. A summary of the Current General Education Requirements is also available.
