Black Student Success Week at Stanislaus State will take place April 20-23 and serves as a dedicated opportunity to highlight and support the academic excellence, leadership and lived experiences of Black students. Through engaging programs, meaningful conversations and campus-wide activities, students are encouraged to build community and learn more about resources that support their success both academically and personally.

HBCU and BSI Gear Day
Warriors are invited to wear apparel representing Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or Black Serving Institutions (BSIs) in recognition of Black excellence, pride, and educational legacy.
Supporting Black Survivors Workshop

This professional development workshop helps faculty and staff foster a campus environment where Black students feel seen, supported and safe. Participants will explore how racism, cultural stigma and systemic inequities shape experiences of sexual violence and influence disclosure and healing. Through discussion and case scenarios, attendees will learn culturally responsive approaches to support students, avoid common missteps and connect them with appropriate resources. This workshop is intended for staff and faculty participants only.
