STEM Peer Assisted Learning for Students (STEM PALS) provides student-centered programming to engage incoming freshmen in STEM experiences designed to facilitate discipline immersion, enhance self-efficacy, and improve academic success during the critical first year on campus.

Some of the benefits of applying to STEM PALS are the following:

  • 1:1 peer mentoring for freshmen
  • tutoring program for all levels (see flyers in the Commons N-124)
  • workshops for student information & mental health breaks
  • access to knowledge about the many campus resources for new students
