Transition Programs serve as an extension to New Student Orientation through offering programs designed to help students with their transition into the university throughout their first year. These programs include workshops, a peer-to-peer Buddy Program, Parent & Family weekend, and monthly newsletters.
Buddy Program
The Buddy Program provides an opportunity for new students in their first year at Stanislaus State to connect with current students through regular meet ups, social gatherings, and conversations to learn about campus resources and opportunities to get involved on campus. New students who are interested in participating in the Buddy Program are encouraged to fill out the Transition Program Interest Form .
