Who may apply?

Any student registered for classes who is not a financial aid recipient receiving sufficient funds to cover the tuition and fees. Students with a prior balance are not eligible.

All Financial Aid students should participate.

To sign up, for students with checking/savings accounts simply log in to mycsustan.edu account, and click "Enroll in Direct Deposit" See the video below or download the detailed instructions pdf.

Any refund for which a student is eligible will be “automatic” when a student follows campus-established procedures to cancel the registration, drop courses, or withdraw for the academic period.  Refunds will be automatically processed following the census date for each academic term.

Students will be entitled to a full refund of mandatory fees and nonresident tuition only if they cancel their registration or drop all courses prior to the first day of instruction for an academic term.

What is Form 1098-T?

Form 1098-T, Tuition Statement: When figuring an education credit or the tuition and fees deduction, use only the amounts you paid and are deemed to have paid during the tax year for qualified education expenses. In most cases, the student should receive Form 1098-T from the eligible educational institution by January 31st. We are required by the IRS to report payments received during the calendar year in (box 1)  for qualified education expenses.

Registration fees are due in accordance with the fee payment deadlines listed below. You may review the status of your financial aid or verify your balance due by logging into your myStanState Student Center.All payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Payments may be made online, check, money order, or cash.
