CSU Stanislaus Provost James T. Strong recently announced the recipients of the Outstanding Professor Awards for the 2010/11 academic year.

James T. Strong, California State University (CSU), Stanislaus Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, has announced the selection of two CSU Stanislaus professors to receive the prestigious Elizabeth Anne B. Papageorge Faculty Development Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
Three outstanding California State University (CSU) Stanislaus alumni are featured in a new publication, “Working for California,” published in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the 23-campus CSU system.

CSU Stanislaus alumni Pam Kehaly, President and General Manager, Anthem Blue Cross; Daniel Sciabica of Nick Sciabica & Sons; and Robert Ulrich of Ulrich Casting are listed along with other notable CSU alumni in the 50th anniversary publication available on the California State University Web site, www.calstate.edu.
Ladi Asgill, agricultural economist and certified crop advisor with Sustainable Conservation, a highly respected environmental organization with a reputation for working collaboratively with the California agriculture industry and government regulators to develop solutions to environmental challenges, will speak on campus April 13 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. in the Faculty Development Center. Asgill is responsible for promoting farming practices like conservation tillage and nutrient budgeting, and introducing innovative technologies like manure injection on dairy farms.
Dean Linda Nowak of the College of Business Administration welcomed a gathering of more than 100 people who came to the California State University, Stanislaus Event Center on Friday, March 18 to attend the first annual Women’s Leadership Forum and to hear three featured speakers talk about their experiences in “Leading through Adversity—Grace Under Pressure.”
