U.S. News & World Report first placed Stanislaus State on its list of top public universities in the West region 21 years ago, and it’s a streak that shows no sign of ending.

Once again, Stan State is featured in the publication’s rankings, released Tuesday, appearing at No. 14 among public universities in the West region, one spot higher than last year. In addition, Stanislaus State is ranked No. 61 regionally among all four-year colleges.

Overall, the 23 members of the California State University system fared well in the rankings, occupying 11 of the top 18 spots on the list of the region’s top public universities.
