The deadline is approaching to apply for the Robert Noyce Scholarship Program, which provides $10,000 to math and science teacher candidates in exchange for a commitment to spend two years teaching in a high-need school.

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Noyce Scholarship is open to any CSU Stanislaus student currently enrolled in or newly admitted to the university's Single Subject Credential Program for the 2013-14 academic year. The deadline to submit a completed application packet is Friday, April 25.
WHAT: CSU Stanislaus Free Spring Math Camp, Grades 3 to 6

WHEN: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., April 1 to 5

WHERE: CSU Stanislaus, Demergasso-Bava Hall

DETAILS: Space is guaranteed for the first 60 applicants to the university's Free Spring Math Camp, presented by the Central California Mathematics Project, the High School Mathematics Access Program and the Math and Science Teacher Initiative.
