Geography enters the 21st century! Students use state-of-the-art software and computer equipment to examine the multiple facets of modern technology in the field of Geography.

So you want to be a rock star? Learn how to produce and record your own material with professional software and computer equipment.

Audio material is available for most language courses. Drop off your blank CD-R disks or USB drive in the Drop Off box outside LX1 for your own copies of this material. Please make sure your name and class are on your disks and allow 24 hours for your disks to be returned.

Attention Foreign Language Students

For those needing copies of audio material, please provide your own blank CD-R disks (NOT CD-RWs or DVDs) and label them with your name, class, and the material you need (i.e. Tu Mundo Ch 1-6, etc.). Place your CDs in the “Drop Off CDs” box located next to L110C. Please allow 24 hours for copies, unless told otherwise by lab staff. When your copies are finished, they will be placed in the “Pick Up CDs” box.

You may now use a USB Flash Drive if you would like MP3 files. Please see the instructions below.

Computers and SOME car stereos and DVD players will play MP3 disks but not all so make sure that the equipment you intend to play the disk on supports this format.

We are now accepting USB Flash Drives to copy files in MP3 Format. Please label disks with your name and class. Flash drives must be at least 512 Mb. and should not contain sensitive or important data. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of USB Flash Drives so use them at your own risk. We WILL NOT accept portable MP3 players, iPhones, or other electronic devices for transferring media files. Please DO NOT leave these devices in the Drop Off box as they may be stolen.
