HIST 5000 – International Relations Seminar
Research on an international relations topic, using history or political science methodology.

HIST 5800 – History Pedagogy
This class introduces students to the theory and practice of teaching history. Students will engage critically with ethical questions, analyze pedagogical approaches, and create their own teaching materials. By the end of the semester, students will leave the class with a working syllabus that is ready for implementation in a lower-division class in either U.S. or World History.

HIST 5940 – History Internship
Supervised practicum in work situations involving the application of historical methods in various locations including (but not limited to) museums, libraries, archives, government agencies, historic sites and other history-related institutions.
