PERC
For courses with Enrollment Requirements (course pre-requisites), the Enrollment Requirement Roster can be used to view if the course requirements have been met at the time of and after registration.
The PERC process assigns two statuses:
- The Enrollment Req Status is the status of the requirements at the time of enrollment; this status will not change.
- The Post Enroll Req Status is assigned via a batch process after the prior semester grades have posted and will indicate if a student has satisfied the enrollment requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
PERC stands for Post Enrollment Requisite Checking. For courses with Enrollment Requirements (course pre-requisites), the Enrollment Requirement Roster can be used to view if the course requirements have been met at the time of and after registration.
Because access is associated with the Faculty role rather than individuals, only Faculty who have PeopleSoft access can view or take action on PERC rosters. Individual access cannot be provided.
Please call Enrollment Services to confirm that the Enrollment Requirements for your course are activated. The Chair of your department may need to submit an email request to the Registrar.
No, PERC will look for the current Enrollment Requirements established on a course and cannot recognize catalog year requirements. To view a student’s catalog year, click on a student’s name and then click the “Statistics” Information link. The student’s catalog year is listed as “Requirement Term".
A student with an Enrollment Request Status of “Conditional” means that the student is in progress with the Enrollment Requirements at Stanislaus State. A student with an Enrollment Request Status of “Not Satisfied” means that the student has neither satisfied the Enrollment Requirements nor is currently enrolled in the Enrollment Requirements at Stanislaus State. NOTE that a student with the “Not Satisfied” status could be taking the Enrollment Requirement at another college/university.
The “Enrollment Req Status” column indicates if the student has satisfied the Enrollment Requirements (course prerequisites) at the time of enrollment; this status will not change. Once prior semester grades have posted and Enrollment Services generates the PERC Roster, the “Post Enroll Req Status” column appears. This column indicates if a student has satisfied the Enrollment Requirements once grades have posted.
Yes, the drop action will initiate an automated notification to the student.
You must review students with a drop-down menu next to their name. To submit changes, click the “Review for Batch Drop Processing” checkbox above your roster and click “SAVE” at the bottom of the roster.
No, either would result in the student’s Post Enrollment Registration Status becoming “Not Satisfied” and PERC would set the student to “Drop Request".
Comments/Notes are for Faculty reference only and can be made on a particular student by clicking on the “Tracking” Information link. Only Faculty have access to viewing these notes.
Nothing, if you make no updates on your roster, students will remain enrolled in your class whether they satisfy the Enrollment Requirements or not.
