• Events and activities other than meetings need pre-approval from the appropriate vice president (or designee) before submitting the event request in 25Live.
  • Before arriving on campus, all studentsfacultystaff, and guests must complete the Campus Daily Screening.
  • Face coverings are required, regardless of vaccination status, inside campus buildings.
  • Face coverings must be worn outside when 3-feet of physical distancing is not possible.
  • 3-feet of physical distance is required indoors, and spaces should be set up to meet this requirement. In addition, to ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA COVID-19 guidance, events where employees will be present and food will be served must be set up the space to facilitate 6-feet of physical distancing can be achieved while employees eat.
  • RSVPs are required and must include the name and phone number of attendees.
  • No off-campus attendees at events.
  • Check-in is required for events, and the event organizer must provide this information to Safety & Risk Management if requested.
  • No direct passing out of materials. A self-pickup table will be allowed.
  • All gatherings with food must be commercially pre-packaged individual servings. There is no self-serve food or self-serve drinks. Food Buffets and Potlucks are prohibited on campus at this time. If the event requires a plated meal, those can be ordered and served by Chartwells.  Chartwells Contactless Catering is available and preferred.
  • For in-person events with an online component, BOTH the physical location and the “Online/Virtual” location should be selected.
  • Event organizers will need to follow the process in 25Live to get all required “tasks” completed before the event is confirmed. Once the event is confirmed in 25Live, it can be promoted if that option has been requested.
