The College of Education, Kinesiology & Social Work is dedicated to preparing professionals who are "Life-Long Learners" equipped with the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to address the challenges facing schools, social service agencies, and communities.  Our talented staff and faculty are devoted to the highest quality programs that meet state and national accreditation standards.

Approximately 1,000 undergraduate and 500 post baccalaureate and graduate students are enrolled in programs within our five departments.  The Liberal Studies and Kinesiology departments offer undergraduate majors for students who are interested in entering a teaching credential program or are aiming for a career in "Physical Education" or "Health and Wellness".  The department of Social Work prepares future social workers to advance social justice and address the many social issues facing our region and nation.  Professional certification programs in Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and Special Education are located in the Department of Teacher Education.  The Department of Advanced Studies offers graduate programs preparing school administrators, counselors, reading specialists, curriculum specialists, educational technologists, and our doctoral program in Educational Leadership.
