Registration
If you are registering for courses that do not meet the entire term, this must be done during Priority, Open or Late Registration periods AND before the Census date.

Open Registration ends at 10 p.m. on the last date listed above. Permission number required after 10 p.m.

Classes begin

Census Day
Last day to add a class (permission number required), and/or to drop a class (with no “W” reflected on your transcript)

Withdrawals for serious and compelling situations only.

Last day to request CR/NC through myStanState.
Payment
Enrollment Cancellation from classes will occur for all unpaid accounts at the end of the business day on the payment due dates below.

Tuition and fees due for students who registered between November 3 - January 12
First installment payment plan due

Disenrollment for non-payment of tuition and fees and/or installment payment. Must pay tuition prior to re-enrolling.
January 26
Last day to withdraw from classes and qualify for a full refund of paid tuition and fees

Second installment payment plan due

Tuition and fees due for students who registered between January 13 - February 13
Pay Immediately
Tuition and fees due immediately for students who registered between February 14 - February 23. $25 Late Registration fee applies after January 27
Late Payment
Tuition and fees paid after February 23 subject to $25 Late Payment Fee (if enrolled)

Last day to drop to part-time and qualify for a refund

Third installment payment plan due

* Withdrawals after the Enrollment Census Date and prior to the last twenty percent of instruction may be assigned by completing the Course University Withdrawal. Permission to withdraw during this time shall be granted with the approval of the instructor, the department chair, and the college dean (form will be automatically routed upon form submission). All requests to withdraw under these circumstances and all approvals shall indicate a “W” on the student academic record.
Withdrawals shall not be permitted during the final twenty percent of instruction except in cases, such as accident or serious illness, where the cause of withdrawal is due to circumstances clearly beyond the student’s control and the assignment of an Incomplete is not practicable.
