Student Conduct

Student Conduct ensures a productive and safe environment where students can work, study, learn, and live. The office seeks to help students successfully graduate from the university as responsible and engaged citizens. The office provides students with developmental learning experiences while holding them accountable for their actions as they proceed through the student conduct process.

How we contribute to student success and development:

  • Provide outreach, educational materials, and advisement to students, faculty, and staff regarding Title V, section 41301; Executive Orders 1068, 1097, and 1098; and other policies.
  • Demonstrate care for individual students, their educational aspirations, and personal development and protect students' due process rights.
  • Hold students accountable for violations of university policy.
  • Foster civic growth and responsibility by encouraging students to make appropriate, ethical, and positive choices.
  • Decrease risk behaviors through intervention and appropriate sanctions.
